Matter or, all the physical objects in the universe, is infinite in number. If this were not so, the scarce resource called matter would dispense and disperse through infinite space until the isolated islands of matter would be ostracized forever from the others. Gravity, holding together particles upon particles, would keep matter centralized and together until the various forces turns that matter into energy. As a grain of salt cleaves to a grain of salt, a rock is formed, then an asteroid, then a planetoid, then a planet, a gas giant, a star, a red giant, an explosion, grains of salt scattered wider than before. If, therefore, matter is finite, the stars above while barely visible as is, would be scattered beyond comprehension.

Axiom 7: Matter is Infinite
