Energy is a phenomena that, unto itself is not permanent, for, a fire is born, eats, and dies in ashes and the phenomena vanishes. A rock will move when pushed, creating the phenomena of motion, but when the rock is slowed by friction and is stopped, the phenomena stops. Energy unto matter however becomes suddenly immortal when it is realized that energy did not destroy matter, but changed it's form. Where the tree once was, a pole of burnt logs and ash now is, but the energy of fire might be spent, but now the energy of organic fertilizer comes into play. Therefore, energy and matter goes hand in hand, carbon bond in bond, and in change is energy created, and in energy are things evolving and progressing, turning old boring hydrogens into oxygens and heliums.
