Life is separate from both matter and energy; it is not matter containing energy nor energy controlling matter. Life dose not share the same qualities as other phenomena and cannot be remotely compared to fire, or electricity, or plasma, or physical force, or any other naturally occurring expression of energy and matter. Life is it's own thing. Built out of delicate, mortal bodies, organic lifeforms tramp there territories spreading their race over the face of their domain. Life, unlike energy or matter is self possessed and autonomous. Where energy and matter are dead and soulless, life lives and is intelligent. a dirt specks do not share the same intelligence as protozoa, dirt sits still where protozoa acts. Life is a mysterious little lord, master of the inanimate elements it possess including the corps life controls and manipulates. Life, however still resembles energy in one regard: in that life is a phenomena, short lived and dead afterwords. Perhaps a soul lives on, but it lives on intangible. How then, is life infinite? Obviously it would be in the generations of life giving life to life. This process has been eternal and infinite, otherwise spontaneous generation of life would grant autonomy to the inanimate, which would be like giving self-possession to a dirt speck. Life, therefore, is as old as stone, and will live into future immutable. Though the living can be killed, life is spread over the universe as to make it to big to fail, quite literally. Life, then, is both ancient and widespread, thereby making it infinite.
